This at the beginning of the party - being held by Mom Yi's long time Visiting Teaching partner.
So - its been awhile...last entry was right before Ethans big 1st Birthday.. which we actually celebrated on June 6th due to Daddy coming home on june 1st which was a sunday and we waited until the next weekend so G'ma Yi could be rested to hold the event at her house and of course cook everyone some great Korean Food. We held the little tradition of "dol janchi" which is the celebration they have in korea - which is a big deal given their mortality rate up until just the last 30 years or so. Anyway as most of you know we had the same outfit that Devin had worn when he turned one - which we put on Ethan = but I forgot the hat...the cutest part...oh well. maybe I'll take another pic. so - here is one of Ethan

Of the items that were layed out before him he chose the dollar bill first, then the ruler - the first obviously signifying wealth the second means he will supposedly be talented in using his hands. It was a fun day and so glad that Devin was home. This is one where Ethan is wearing the exact same outfit that Devin did...
