MOVING FAST
So over christmas we had been waiting to hear back for a job offer for Devin, which was gruling, and had to wait a little more during the hiring process - but by mid-Jan we knew he had the position and that he would be leaving in 2 weeks to start his job in the D.C. area. We swore a few years back we would never move to D.C. - but here we are...ever so grateful for a steady job that allows my hubby to be home every evening and not off in Africa somewhere. Let me just say that the process of him finding us a place to stay and deciding where to rent and for how long was one of the most stressful times in my life...mainly due to serious complications of the #1 Mega-storm that hit right when he got there. Anyway - on my end I was packing - what I could do at least...I am very glad I was only in my 2nd trimester and able to handle the light packing. My parents arrived a few days before the big move date - and we also hired some movers for the large stuff and we also had Devins brother. So - husbandless - we made it and boy was it an emotional last few days...I crashed at Mom Yi's for a few days before hoping on a plane ...one way to Dulles.
Full truck - still had out mattress to squeeze in...Elora was a big help with Ethan.

One of the many many boxes to be filled

Funny story - G'pa somehow hit our tree, still boggles my mind, but it was meant to be; for it had always struggled a little. And yes - it snowed on the morning of loading...it had been sunny and clear all week!

Empty house - trying to clean...

Ethan LOVED the big truck!

There goes G'pa - thanks to willing parents who are able and so wonderful for helping us out - Im not sure what we would have done without you!!
