DISNEYWORLD
December 2009
Our first night -at our awesome super cheap 2 bedroom condo...thanks to the military!

The big Mickey at Shades of Green...do I look tan next to Mickey?

Elora talking about how fun her very first roller coaster ride was...at MK.

She was SO excited to drive! - one of her favorite rides.

All bundled up on our last day at MK...so glad we got to go!

So - Ethan is totally checking out Pocahontas
- even though she's a WHITE girl..hah...I told Elora she should take over when she gets older.

Its blurry yes...but I had to get this one in here because this was momentous for Elora - row 4, Dad in black,Elora in lime green - G'pa right behind her.

I think this should be our Christmas card next year - bunch of wise monkeys.
Gm'a and Elora about to watch the night time show at Hollywood Studios which was very spectacular with of course fireworks etc..on this lake thingy.

One of Ethans very HAPPY moments as he was playing in the little kiddie area...can I just say that M.K. was so great to take him around...a lot more things for him to do there. His very first ride was Pirates...and he jumped over to Dad for protection...very cute!
Waiting for the Monorail at the Polynesian resort which was huge and beautiful...monorail was cool too.

In love with the soft pooh bear.

Our last day spent in MK

Ethan and I chillin on the future ride in MK - he's holding on!

Ethan sort of - not really, wanting to ride on the carousel.

Last moments - Elora with a few "goods" before we leave.

Our Animal Kingdom day - started out a little rainy so we went in and saw a great 4-D Bug show, the rest of the day was good and AK turned out to be pretty fun. Tree of life in the background....dont pick the fruit!

Fuzzy pic of Ethan and I on a ride - gotta love his little bald head poppin up.

Ethan was literally falling asleep here at the lunch table...so cute rubbing his little eyes.

We rode on the the back of the huge safari truck - and saw a lot of big african animals...a lot of fun - probably one of my favorite "rides"

I have to say that Ethan LOVED all the characters we would see - and smiled so huge, he loved the chippendales and pooh especially...this guy was great and interacted with us.
Before we saw the Lion King show - which was kewl...this was on a bridge and hundreds of cranes were just flying and in and nesting for the eveninig...so pretty!

EPCOT -- Ethan conked out pretty fast this day...which was SO warm and wonderful.

Helga - with her troll -

Waking up in America. :-)
(if you ever go, stop and watch the singers inside - AMAZING!)

This must be somewhere in Europe...soo happy!

Our Moroccan princess.

Few shots of Devin - satisfied after coming out of the Moroccan restaurant that was REALLY delicious and inexplicably authentic.

Watching some great performers.
Elora excited to be in China?? or just happy - not sure.

Senorita - yes....she looks the part...Mexico was at the end of the day and was a short stop.

So - Ethan walks up to a lighted up huge Christmas tree at the end of our day - it was dark and it was hard for him to look up and take it all in apparently, because he walked over to the edge of it and layed down on the cement to get a better view... SO funny this kid...

This was hilarious ...we ALmost got our perfect shot...ohhh....who's the tree in the background...posing for our family shot?

This is self-descriptive...and funny, dad was soo pooped that day...does it show that he just wants to go back to the condo?

Cant say I remember much about H.S. - we didnt spend much time there due to meeting up with Mom and Dad Bennett - honestly I think Universal is much better.

Elora - once again forced into wearing a hat for our entertainment.

One of our many tram rides...which can I just say ....are REALLY wet when it rains.

We made it! - our first day in Walt Disney WORLD - its sunny so we dont look very excited.

"Yes - dad - Im very excited, but the sun is pounding my eyeballs and your distracting me from my planning" -- she was annoyed....:-) but happy.
End of our first day. Elora danced in the street parade and had a lot of fun...overall a great trip considering how much we paid...thanks again to the military....yeaaa.
